
Three early and quite large finished pieces below, with my comments and recollections

Boston Market, circa 1970
The first artwork KC showed me; I thought it was wonderful and told her so! My thought was: "I better marry her before someone else snaps her up!"
From her 1967 diary:
"The Market is marvelous, the people, the faces, the color, the differences, the clutteredness, the everything! You walk along the sidewalks in the Market. People talking in Italian, old ladies chattering awa

Sitting on the edge of the armchair, looking at the water... while her Cat enjoys the cushion.
